A Brut Nature, produced without dosage in a few precious bottles and only in the best vintage years. This wine highlights the nuances of the Pinot Noir grapes grown in the lands of Zenevredo, embracing their volatile and exclusive character. The vine stocks being over thirty year old, the very limited yields, and the vinification in small batches per individual parcel applying the Classical method offer a sparkling wine featuring elegantly graceful manners reminiscent of the Oltrepo area hills. The changing expressiveness and the familiarity with the slow passing of time are its cardinal aspects.

The Brut Nature, after resting for 48 months, offers very fine perfumes and a sip featuring and exciting plot. Sumptuous on the palate with a vivacious savouriness and fresh citrus. A toasty and almond like finish.

ABOUT Oltrenero
Oltrenero meaning “beyond the dark” is named after the colour of the Pinot Noir grapes which make this Traditional Method sparkling wine. Vines have been cultivated in the Oltrepó Pavese area since the Middle Ages, when Benedectine monks worked the land. Fragrant and seductive, this is a sparkling wine of authentic class. Its bubbles are infnite in its persistence and its delightful glow is reminiscent of the sunset in the Oltrepò.
