This outstanding Cru is a blend made from a selection of international grape varieties from the best and oldest Petit Verdot, Syrah and Cabernet vineyards of the estate. The grapes are manually harvested, the vinification takes place separately by variety in stainless steel vat and ages for 14 months in 350 litres French oak tonneaux, followed by 10 months in bottle.

Brightly coloured red wine is the archetype of the Tenuta Rocca di Montemassi, displaying notes of blackcurrants, tobacco and spices. Full bodied, medium tannins, well balanced with a long finish.
