This is Castello di Albola's most iconic wine. The grapes are hand picked from a 20 year old single vineyard of less than 1 ha characterized by stony Alberese soil and historic south east facing steep slopes of 550 to 580 meters above sea level. This fine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is a 100% Sangeiovese grapes aged in Allier oak barrels for 14 months, followed by a further 18 months of ageing in the bottle.
